Calling New Board Members

Join us in working for social change through film and the arts. We're seeking a variety of backgrounds and expertise.

Our small team is seeking dedicated, collaborative, and justice-oriented candidates to help propel Needle + Frame to its next stage of growth. If you're interested in serving yourself or have another candidate in mind who would be a great fit, we'd love to hear from you! The majority of our team is based in Colorado, but we welcome interested candidates from anywhere in the world.

Board Member Expectations for 2023
  • Attend three virtual meetings (one per quarter)

  • Dedicate 3-5 hours per quarter to advising, networking, and/or attending events

  • Give or raise a donation of any amount that is personally meaningful

While not requirements for Board membership, we welcome any additional involvement with Needle + Frame beyond the expectations listed above. In particular, we are seeking connections with formal training and/or lived experience in the following areas:

  • Accounting / Finance

  • Communications and marketing

  • Community outreach

  • Democratic governance

  • Diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-oppression

  • Growth strategy (Including fundraising, grant writing, and strategic planning)

  • Monitoring and evaluation

  • YOUR unique strengths and talents

Our team works to cultivate an equitable and inclusive culture throughout all areas of our organization. We are committed to building a board that represents a diverse range of backgrounds, identities, and life experiences. We strongly encourage anyone who is interested in this opportunity to contact us, especially people from backgrounds who have historically been excluded from board leadership.

Please reach out to us if you're interested!

We'd love to hear from you. Please send a message to info@needleandframe.org with 2-3 sentences about yourself. We'll reach out shortly with next steps.
